Aaron Drinan has moved to Swindon Town from Ipswich Town.

Aaron Drinan, a former Town forward, has paid an undisclosed amount to join League Two team Swindon Town after leaving Leyton Orient.

The Irishman helped Richie Wellen’s team win League Two last season after joining the O’s from the Blues in the summer of 2021.

Drinan has only made 15 appearances in the first half of the 2023–24 season due to injury, though.

During his time at Brisbane Road, he made 96 appearances across all competitions and scored 20 goals. He is now joining the 10th-placed Robins in the fourth division.

After firing Michael Flynn last month, they are currently without a permanent manager and are led by interim head coach Gavin Gunning.

During his tenure at Portman Road, Drinan made 24 appearances and scored one goal.
